I was born in 1958, the Barbie doll was "born" in 1959; so for a year I had nothing to do. Since then I've been making up for lost time by dressing anyone and anything that comes within my reach. I have worked for several theaters, and have my own business designing and creating what I call costumes for life... suits, evening gowns, and casual wear.

My clothing is attractive and professional looking, while being comfortable, functional, and easy to care for. It is designed to make my customers look good, without trying to make them look like someone else. My clothing is practical yet stylish; distinctive yet conservative; unique, yet recognizably professional.

I offer easy-care designer clothing at bridge prices. The styles build on the ideas of such designers as Madeleine Vionnet, Claire McCardell, Frank Agostino, and Zoran, with seasonal variations inspired by nature. They are based on classic lines, with fresh elements and adjustments to the basic silhouettes. Care is taken to ensure that details such as deep, conveniently placed pockets are abundant. Alternatives to standard closures, unusual seam treatments, and just-slightly-unusual profiles are employed to add a sense of individuality to the cooky cutter environment that is the business world.

My customers are businesswomen who are self-made and self-assured; they are lawyers, professors, doctors, business owners, heads of studios, dancers, musicians, parents, partners, and loners. Their ages range from 15 to 95. They are concerned with world affairs and the environment, and take good care of themselves while still enjoying life to the fullest.
